Halloween at the "Deep Flooded Mine" with artifact recoveries

Saturday John Eells and I did a fun dive to a max depth of 200'. My buddy has been on a mission to collect antique hubcaps, and today we did just that. Taking a break in the search for the lost victim, we thought it would be a bit too creepy if we discovered the remains on Halloween. Outstanding weather and overall conditions. We experienced water temps rising to a max of 57 degrees at the ten foot stop, otherwise it was 42 as usual at depth. Most of the footage in this video was captured with a Nikon DSLR, and using Halcyon HID video lamps. Many thanks to our corporate support from Diving Unlimited International, for the excellent drysuits and the Blue Heat electrically heated thermals, which is essential in long exposures in these temperatures. John did a seventy five minute TRT, and I did a 120 TRT. Other support is from Subgravity, Juergensen Marine and Blue Water Divers. Yesterday was my 55th dive and 40th day of diving at the mine over a two year period. Thanks Pennie Eells for the topside support as well!
More slated for next week, the Willys and Haynes hubcaps, evidently the Haynes was an expensive car in those days. I think the body has a bit more merit in recovery, but it's fun to just play around with tools and toys for a change!
