High Pressure cylinder permit expiration

As of now the special permit for the PST HP cylinders number SP9791 is due to expire on either the 31st of January or the 28th of February (depends on which government web site you're on)We had the same issue four years ago and at that time the permit was renewed. In that PST no longer exists the renewal is NOT a forgone conclusion. For those of you out there that have these cylinders it is in your best interest to research this and decide if you want to get them hydro'd now and guarantee another five years of service life or if you feel lucky and belive the permit will be renewed. The link below will take you to the government site that indicates Feb. 28th but be aware the hydro facility that I use found the January 31st date and that's the date they intend to go with

what am i looking for exactly

I spoke to the folks at PSI about the exemption expiration and they advised me that the owner of PST had applied for the exemption again and it will be forthcoming. If you have any questions, call PSI at 425-398-4300

Spoke to PSI again this morning, they indicated that their info was bad and that the permit had not been applied for. I am taking my tanks for hydro, at least my LDS will still fill them.

Yup, that's the January 31st expiration date but if you do a permit search on the link I posted it gives February 28th. Again my hydro facility went with the January 31st date found on the document you found. Personally I'm taking all my cylinders to hydro before the 31st. Those of you with these cylinders should make your own decisions.
