Today we hit one of Capt Bill's numerous spots in search of fish and bugs. Seas started off 1-2' and got flatter as the morning went on...visibility was 10-15' or 15-20' depending who you asked. Bottom temps were again in 67F range.
There were lot's of small boats drifting around us looking for fluke, but they all mysteriously disappeared when a very nice NJ State Police dive boat anchored up near us.
So what did we get? This is where the story gets interesting. As for fluke? Absolutely NO fluke boated as they, too, had mysteriously disappeared when the NJSP showed up. Lots of nice, nearly brand new fishing tackle was found as well as a freshly lost anchor and chain (anyone who can identify said anchor can contact the MOSB for its safe return). Several nice Tog and Sea Bass were also brought aboard as well.
But the catch of the day was an EPIC amount of lobster. We don't want to gloat, especially since I can't figure out how to post pictures to prove it , but let's just say the only reason we did not limit out on the boat was a certain anchor-finding crew-member not pulling his weight. Even Capt Bill made a dive and caught his limit of lobster!
BTW, Sunday's trip is a go, and has 2 spots available.
If you want to go diving on the Tuna Seazure, please call the shop at 610-631-2288 to book your spot. The boat will run any day we can get at least 4 people to sign up.

there were lobsters everywhere and i swear they were hanging out of their holes - it seems to me maybe the storm filled in the holes and now its rebuild time -
to bad you missed it - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
