Sunday, Bloody Sunday on the TUNA SEAZURE 8/17

Unfortunately, I can only speak for Sunday's trip this weekend because I was diving down south for the last 2 weeks. Sorry, you will have to wait til Bartman chimes is with his report

We had a full boat with the usual suspects

and actually had 2 people on the waiting list

.

Overcast, drizzly and choppy was on the surface menu (of course the sun came out after we got back to the dock).

We hit one of Captain Bill's unidentified wrecks and had 15-20' of vis and 60F on the bottom. Lots of stuff came up including a bunch of "precious" metal artifacts. It was really hard to see everything in the cooler because my HUGE legal lobster covered everything, but I definitely saw some decent size fluke, a couple of huge 'taug, some nice sea bass, a scallops and over a dozen lobsters...oh yeah, Bart had a bad case of the crabs

Getting back to the Blood.....yes, some blood was spilled....nothing a pair of socks couldn't handle

PLEEEAAAASSSSSEEEEEEE make sure your drysuit inflator is hooked up BEFORE jumping in for your first dive AND your second dive. It is much easier to hook it up on the deck instead of some poor crew member hanging over the side of the boat to hand you the inflator hose. THAT IS ALL!

You guys are all great divers and crew now I just wish you would get the boat name right. Since before I bought it it's been the TUNASEAZURE, TUNASEAZURE. Some time i'll tell you how it got it's name. It isn't about Tuna having heart attacks. If you don't believe me just look at the little name on the transom. Capt. Bill and the crew of some boat they seem to think is called the Tuna seizure.

FOR those of who were questioning why i did not connect my drysuit inflator hose, the answer is Capt Bill and I were conducting a drill - a drysuit inflator drill, to be exact... to see how personnel would react to the situation... - most everyone passed but one person was a little slow - i caution everyone in the future there maybe more drills, so stay alert....

Also I find it very hard to believe that HUGE legal lobster was hiding behind some mussels - "Just move the mussels out of the way" PLEASE come on already, i maybe dumb , but i am not stupid!!!

And for the female on the dock who said she heard I have a "little one", that is not true (looking nervously right and left)
