tuna seazure

Thursday we headed south with a full boat to a site most including me have never dove. The vis was around 30' and the bottom temp was in the mid 60's. Wreck was really low lying but we managed to find some interesting pieces that were full of lobsters, tog and sea bass. We had 2 great dives and headed back by lunch. The conditions on the surface were with out a doubt the best this season. As captain Bill said we anchored off the stern. Great day on the ocean. It was especially quiet and peaceful. Thanks to Capt Bill for taking us to some unchartered destinations! It was nice not to see boats surrounding us and and seeing fins and claws everywhere we swam.. Great peaceful day on the ocean!

who was with you? anyone that i know?

you anchored off the STERN????? - how does that work - and how far did you swim? - i cant swim as far as most - were the creatures by the tie in or by the end of the second reel? - was it a wooden wreck of metal - come on i need more information NOW!!!!!!!

You got me there Bart. I've seen wood wrecks, metal wrecks [no WD-40 applied] and hybrid metal/wood wrecks, but damn if I ever seen a wooden wreck of metal. To think I thought I seen most everything. Silly me.

Carl, Alan, PJ, Pete, tom, Ed, myself and captain bill. Wooden wreck. Creatures were far far away. I made a trail of sea shells to share with all. You would have loved it.

you made a trail of shells so the costumers could find the section of the wreck that had a ton of fish and lobsters on it - is this correct? = I am impressed! - seems like this behavior of is a little different from the selfish rep that some divers have gotten......I am going to take a page from your book - there should be more crew like you - next thing you know you start finding things and wanting to return them....

There was/is a wreck up your way known as the "string" wreck. Divers ran string between the pieces so other fellow divers could find their way, not selfish and not new.
You should have known. LOL

What are you talking about? I learned this behavior from watching you man. I am a team player. Oh ya, I swam for a gun and also recovered the spear that was lost on the bottom. That would have been a costly loss. It was a great day.

hey Glenn - i have been there but didnt know why they called it that - very cool - today there are those that go to the bottom and collect the ropes and strings for themselves lolol
