Saturday 7/27 Low Lying Wooden Wreck Lots of hunters on today, big stack of spearguns at the ready. Best surface viz in awhile, could see the boat and ladder from the granny....... Seemed like everyone got a lobsta today....even me!...........and broke the rules while at it! Some nice fish as well. Good viz 15-20 ft depending on who you asked. Warm again on the bottom, starting to see more Fluke with the warmer water. Nice day on Lake Atlantic.
Sunday 7/28 Jimmy's choice and.............. Well, I would finally have a choice of locations...........overall census was not positive! I saw many very large Tog, but I had the wrong gun. The others did not find this wreck to their liking. Very silty conditions in the sand....actually lost the wreck when I dropped down to tie....had to swim back and find the wreck and tie off the line to make my way back. The top of this metal tanker had good viz by my standards maybe 20+....but the others who all dove the sand had very different viz reports. Moving was the request, and as we were not far from some of our known haunts we picked up and scooted over a couple miles to a more productive wooden wreck. This wreck had a Tog that had been named by one of the regulars (Snaggle Tooth) same spot 2 years. He no longer holds residence at this location. He will be the featured guest at my table this evening and Kongers some time soon as well.....by the way...Thank You my Brotha! Overall a good day hunting. It did blow up a couple times but settled down by the time we were heading back and got back before the rain had started.
This coming weeks weather looks outstanding! and should make for some great dive conditions. We have a couple divers interested in Thursday and have a couple for Saturday. As of now we have Friday and Sunday wide open.
If you want to get out and have some fun, give the shop a call @ 610-631-2288
The wrong gun? lololololololololololol You always seem to have the wrong gun. You should carry all 3 of your guns every dive!!!!! And ya your pick was a total dumpcake as most of your picks are. lololololololololol And lastly you are welcome for the tog.
No one had a scale as I was beginning to clean it. A fishing boat Capt on the dock said in the 10 lb range. Not the biggest I've seen, but the biggest one for me. In all fairness I was lead to this fish by a trail of bread crumbs left by another diver.............

Trail of bread crumbs, give me a break. Conger's been feeding it for two years. He damn near gave you GPS numbers for it. Only way he could have made it easier is if he tied it up for you .Capt. Bill

No fighting just a healthy dose of breaking B...S. All in fun, if you're not having any fun diving try another sport. Capt. Bill, tounge in cheek
