Johnson submarine gun - anyone ever shoot one?

I just was given one to try out - it is one of those 1960 crazy guns - uses 0.22 blanks for power - they say it was the most powerful gun ever made - After reading some on line stuff i am thinking it maybe a little much even for this undersea explorer - wondering if anyone has ever shot one or knows anything about this seabass stopper

the spear comes out of a rifle barrel like a bullet - the 0.22 blank drives it like a power hammer lololol

My hands are suddenly getting ichy. I am seeing pictures in the head where there is a spear sticking through each hand and look like Edward Sissor hands.

The last time someone brought a fancy spear gun on board I ended up with my hand shot.

they dont make them like this anymore - look at all the powerheads and shells those come with - you made your own handloads - imagine the 18 inch fluke you could takeout with those!!!!!
