Lady Godiver dive report 1/12/2013

We had some regulars on the boat today but some divers that we have not seen in a while too. Today we were joined by Bob Harris and Dan Lieb who have not dove with us since last winter. It was really good to have them on board this trip.
First stop was one of our regular winter spots up North but the one and only fishing boat up that way was on this wreck. We only had to motor about a mile away and we hooked into the Cobblestone. Not great vis - only about 7 ft. Not a lot of fish that we could see and lots of fishing line made this a less than pleasent dive.
Next stop was a set of numbers we had not been to before and it turned out to be a small but interesting snag . The vis here was about 10 to 15 and some nice tog were there.
Last stop was the NE sailor and once again poor vis of 5 to 10 ft.
I did not get the bottom temp but it was comfortable.

Hey Capt Howard, I thought was you out there Saturday on the reef. I was on a party boat tog fishing in the area. I lost about 15 sinkers on the one piece we were fishing, you're welcome to go recover them for me, lol. Glad you had a nice day out, 50degrees in January is crazy! If only the sun cooperated it would have been even better.

I think I saw the boat you were on . I guess we saw you in the afternoon on our last stop and you were South of us. I hope you did well on the tog. I was hoping to fill the freezer Sat but I was not feeling well and only did one short dive.
