ok we went to the Arundo on sat aboard the gypsy blood - Jim said we were going and even though we were light on passengers, off we went - i got down and it was warm and pretty clear - like 15 foot vis but like the arundo always is soon a huge dust cloud on the bottom was brewing - i was after scallops which were very hard to find and i got stuck doing a ton of deco - on my second dive my set was half empty and so i stayed by the locomotive - everyone said it was a train but it looked like a huge storage container to me - as i puttered around there was a small ratty looking scallop laying on these dead mussel shells, next the scallop was a flat onion slice looking valve thing - thinking it was a end of a valve cover or a military hubcap i stuffed it in the bag with the scallop - i went back to the anchor line and already had 4 minutes of deco - i hate deco - when i get back Capt Jim sees my bag and starts yelling and pulling on it - i am like whoa dude, you are really scaring the baby scallop - next thing i hear is him whispering "you found a porthole" and holding it up to see like it is an offering to the gods- it is round and has the screw thingy that hold its closed and it has the hinge as well - all the glass fell out - but the rest is all there - now i am confused, i am like why does the train storage box have a porthole on it - it was explained it was actually from the ship itself - so i was like whaoooooo pretty cool? - Capt Jim is making me bring it on the boat so everyone can see it if they want - for a dollar a minute anyone who wants to polish it can lololol
that is all the bartman-mosb
