Shurz Video and 2012 Dive Season

Well I finally managed to finish editing the Shurz Wreck Video from last summer's trip to North Carolina, check it out on my blog..

My first dive of the season is approaching this weekend as I head out on the Independence II to the Arundo..I think there are a few spots left if anyone is interested in coming along. The weather forecast is looking good! Be Safe

Great video Kim!......if you don't mind my asking what program are you using for your video editing? Did it come with your video recorder or was it an after market program?

Thanks for the compliment! I use I-movie on a MAC. Its hard to get used to but it does the job. I took a one-on one class at Apple for the editing and they taught me quite a few tricks..One of these days I'll purchase a professional program.

I dont have video of that wreck but I still have live ammo from that wreck in my garage that I brought up years ago diving North carolina.I do not know about now. but in the 1990s when George was still alive running olympus.It was just ammazing what the divers brought up on the back of his boat. and I can still rember all the black mud that we used to remove from all the junk( goodies) that has to be cleaned off on the way back inshore to the dive shop.I also rember making that drive and getting blown out for the weekend..or just diving two days out of four due to the weather. and purchasing fresh gulf live shrimp.on ice from guys selling out the back of there pick up trucks on the sides of the roads.That and boiled peanuts,**Hearing you all came back now **

hey kim great video what month were you there, me and my son are heading that way, just trying to pick the time. Anybody else been to NC i know weather is always a factor and am trying to maximize my chances of good diving conditions

I was there the first week of August. We were lucky that we got out 4 of the 5 days. The week prior to and after I was there was completely blown out. The diving is fantastic so I hope you get out!
