Visited the Northeast Sailor today on the mighty Venture III out of Belmar. This was a trip from D2 with mix of students and old salts on board. The sea was a little lumpy; swelling around 3-5' with an occasional 6+ footer showing up seemingly at random. Heavy overcast darkened things up a bit but that was offset by nice viz- better than 25' at the surface and at least 15' at the bottom when some of the newbies weren't kicking things up. The wreck seems to have gotten a little uncovered 'cause I saw a section of exposed planks toward the stern that I haven't seen before. Lots of fish hanging on the wreck and a couple of bugs came up. All divers were happy and overall it was a great day!
