We were able to get out again today. We found the swells have diminished and the seas were pretty comfortable. We headed East to the same general area as yesterday and found similar conditions. The first wooden wreck gave up several lobster but no decent sized sea bass left on that one. I saw a party boat on it yesterday so I am sure they took some of the bigger fish.
Next stop was another wooden wreck just a little deeper but in the same area. I was lucky enough to be the first one down . I only had 1800 psi in my tank and I burned through it pretty quickly due to the lobster situation. As soon as I got to the hook I saw at least 3 keepers but set the hook first then got to work. I pulled 10 nice sized lobster out but was only able to keep for as the rest were full of eggs. When I got on the surface I let Bart know about all the lobster and he was in the water in about 90 seconds. Unfortunately he got very cold and did not stay long but still managed lobster also.
Nice day on and under the water and hopefully the pictures Rich was taking turn out good.
