At the Tilly Foster Mine, in Brewster, NY, on Saturday September 17th, Four divers descended to the bottom of the known open pit of the mine. Three used eCCRs and one on OC doubles. One deep support diver, also on CCR, met us at 200', and we had three topside support with Zodiac deployed. This was a well organized dive plan with enough bailout gases for all. No issues or problems whatsoever. With a 20 minute BT max, we were out of the water in 2 hours. As for the author, it was my seventh straight 320' dive in a row, 14th overall. Sandra Clopp did her deepest dive to date, and second to the bottom, Bob Thomas his fifth time to the bottom and fourth this year, and John Eells, remarkably on open circuit, was his third past 300' at the mine. Jonah Klein did our deep support to 200'. We had an agenda, not just going to the bottom, if interested, check out the video link. This coming weekend, the 24th, we plan another 320' dive, with tasks at hand. Wish the team luck!
