The club left the Manasquan Inlet this morning on the Blue Fathoms, with 2-3 ft seas, a little bouncy, and overcast skies, destination Mohawk. We tied in to the bow section, 80 ft, and the water was again a warm 54F. The layer of murk on the surface just will not go away, but the vis on the wreck was good, estimates varied from 20-40 ft (it was 20 ft), especially considering the cloudy day. Lobsters, sea bass and tautog (blackfish) were boated. During the surface interval, the sky to the west started to look black so we called it an early day. Overall, a good, quick dive day and everyone agreed the dive season is finally in full swing! oceanwreckdivers.com
