However, I wanted to continue Diving. So I turned to "Freshwater". I know that our coasts are littered with shipwrecks of both historical and monetary value; and the feeling of adventurism when diving a "real" Shipwreck is overwhelming. I was able to shift my focus to something new. Instead searching the bottom of the Ocean for long lost Marine Treasures like Portholes and Deadeyes, I found something new to search out:
Tree Stumps.
I like to count the rings.
I think cool things like this are often overlooked in the "fresh". Some of these trees are really old. The best stumps are usually found in the deepest(and coldest) parts of the quarry. Sometimes I will run a little Helium so I have a clear head and can count the rings accurately.
As a side note, I found an old water well in My Brothers backyard. I think it is really, really deep. I would love to see what is at the bottom. You never know what could be found from the past. I need someone to turn the crank and lower Me down while I sit in the Bucket.
If You are interested send Me a PM.
