Conditions topside were very nice with a 5 kt breeze and a swell. Bottom temps were 69-70F. Vis on the first dive was 10-15', but as the sun got higher in the sky, we had 15-20'+ on the second dive.
We were limited by what we could catch since fluke and sea bass are closed. At least we could still shoot 1 Tog and 2 winter flounder (that's sarcasm everybody) and shoot them we did. Lobsters were few and far between and very well hidden under the wreck.
While doing my hang, I was visited by an interesting little creature floating by on some sea grass....a sea horse that was about 1 1/2" long.
During the surface interval, we also had several schools of bunker around the boat getting eaten by blue fish. One diver jumped in for a look and he got to see a huge bait ball of bunker from the surface down to about 30'.
Just a reminder, the Tuna Seazure will go out any day we can get 4 divers. Call the shop at 610-631-2288 to book your spot!
