The plan was the Delaware but the viz was not good enough to make it work. Off to one of our favorite southern wrecks. Surface viz was incredible, could see the ladder and gear line from the anchor line. Not as good on the bottom, 10 to maybe 15 ft were the reports. Temperature in the low 50's* (52*-55* reported) Not the most productive day, one sand anchor and the best bug of the season so far. Bunch of short Fluke and some very deep bugs spotted. Day got better as it went along with the seas laying down.
Weather looks to be coming around later in the week. Right now we only have divers for Saturday and need a few more to make that happen. We will still run any day we have 4 divers. Fluke season is wrapping up, still can get a Tog, Lobsters are still on the menu and Sea Bass opens in about 2 weeks. When Sea Bass goes out I'm usually the one complaining the most.......but boy o boy is there a lot of very nice Sea Bass about right now. Capt Bill has a large choice of locations for the upcoming opening and we should do very well.
If you want to take advantage of some of the great water temperatures and pretty good viz, give the shop a call @ 610-631-2288
