Link: TT IV
While painfully close at maybe 50' away. Due to the high current dragging the 300' of line and float ball, we couldn't budge the line. Mark and I did a quick look see of the TT IV, and as tempting as it was to do a full tour, we stayed on task. After some effort, I call the dive, as Mark wasn't going to give up, and I didn't want anyone hurt, and he was getting close to his air supply limits on OC.
We moved from the TT IV and went to the San Diego, again under pristine conditions, and a twilight dive was done there. Using a mooring set by Capt. Hank, I snorkeled down about 15' and grabbed the line to tie in that was floating just beneath the surface. Water was so calm and warm topside, that swimmers were jumping in from the gunwales, just in bathing suits! Pretty rare to see that on a NE wreck dive trip! I don't ever remember it being so calm. Wishing it was like this year round!
Dive safe and often....
