Had pretty good conditions 3 foot with a little chop but not pukey. Bottom viz was 15-20 foot on a nice sandy bottom 57 degrees on bottom. If the sun was out I think it would have been really nice down there.
Managed 2 nice bugs and a just legal.
A few other bugs were brought up by others including Al. Who had a nice long dive (in a wet suit no less) since we had a second Capt on board.
Al had the dredge going and the team picked up a pretty decent number of brass spikes, a few were really nice w/ a diamond head shape and maybe even a makers mark was hard to tell.
My blown out knee from the summer held out w/ the help of a brace and such. Good to be out. Hope this storm does not mess things up for the next month.
Had a few phone call last night from from folks that had heard through the vine that I was going out and were looking for reports. I think they were going to try today, perhaps more posts ahead.
