We figured on one of the taller wrecks in case the vis was crap on the bottom and ended up tying for the Issiac. It had to happen at least once this season and Saturday was our day as there were no other boats on the wreck when we got there. The water was warm and the vis not too bad at about 15 to 20 ft on the bottom. Lots of lobster and mussels came up with at least one diver getting his limit of lobster. One lobster that I brought up had to be returned to the sea since it was oversized at about 6+ lbs. After the first dive the cooler lid would not close due to lots of lobster.
Next dive was a small wreck not too far away and the vis here was about the same. Lots of sea bass and more lobster came up. At this point we were stuffing fish and lobster in the food coolers.
Last stop was the Chaparra. Vis here dropped off a bit but was still doable. Not much came up from this one but it was nice to be able to get on this wreck as its almost always taken.
