Today the good ol' weatherman would be off with the forecast again. 3-5 ft with 10-15 knots was a little more like 4-7 ft with a solid 20 knot wind gusting to maybe 30 knots from time to time. Surface conditions were as good as I have seen them at 100ft to maybe 60 feet down and then a milky 20 ft to the bottom.
A little surge on the bottom but not too bad and still warm top to bottom. Not our usual kill fest but not too bad either. One nice 25 inch Fluke, the biggest Trigger I ever saw and 3-4 very nice bugs would round out the haul today. Everyone seemed happy to get out, seems to me folks are more tolerant of less than perfect conditions the more they can't get out because of weather. Its that way for me for sure. All in all not a bad day and back early enough for lunch.
I'll have pics up shortly.
