After cancelling Saturdays dive at the dock we did get out today and had good conditions. The morning we had a brisk wind but the seas were not too bad and it calmed down around midday .
First stop we headed out a bit to about 90 ft and hit a wooden wreck. Not too much there just a few lobster and fluke. Vis was not what we expected at only about 10 to 15 ft and dark.
Next stop was only a couple of miles away and the conditions may have been a little better but not much. Just one lobster this time.
Next we were going to hit a little known site but too many boats in the area and I did not want to advertise.So off we went without stopping.
Last stop on the way in was a metal commercial fisherman. Some nice sea bass and tog were spotted but only a few lobster came up and no fish. I think the vis was about the same but since it was only 65 ft the light was better.
Not the best day of the season but after all the good dives we have had this year I am not complaining.
