Very nice sea conditions (maybe 1-2 ft)
After a quick ride we were on site and surface conditions are a little cloudy but open nicely on the way down. I have 8-10 ft (but someone on board said 20 ft, John you know who you are) water temp a nice 52*. Not much sea life, one Tog a couple pounds is all we got. So we pack it in to see what else we could find. The Barge would be our next stop and better viz at maybe 20-25 ft still the same 52* temps. 4-5 average sized Tog had here and some very big ones spotted way down deep in the wreck, very skittish. Got 2 in and back at the dock just after noon.
12/10 Favorite little wooden wreck
We had diggers and hunters evenly distributed today, so something wooden would be our goal.
After a quick ride we were on site just about the time the big glowing thing was popping its head up. Surface conditions outstanding, can see the granny line. Viz on the bottom at 10-15 ft (not bad for this wooden wreck) Some fish, 5 average Tog and a big one that one of the crew pilferred (yo Kenny!) anyway a very nice day of diving on one of our favorites.
I asked the Capt what our plans were for the upcoming holidays and I quote: "We'll dive on Christmas Day if we got customers"
So it looks like there are no restrictions on our upcoming scheduling.
We have interest (at least one diver) for this Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. We need divers for all 3 of those days to make it happen. And right now Friday and Sunday are wide open. As usual first to sign up gets to call the destination (weather and amount of divers not withstanding)
Give the shop a call ASAP to make sure we can get it together @ 610-631-2288
