First stop: 120 Wreck. Vis about 10'. Bottom temp 52. A few lobsters rescued, although for such a big wreck with so many holes, there's not a lot of lobsters out there. I think they're moving out to deeper water, or whatever it is that lobsters do for the winter.
Second stop was Rods and Cables. Bottom temp of 54. Viz a little worse, about 5-7 foot. While we were down, the wind started kicking up and I returned to a surface with about 2-3 foot waves. A few sea bass, tog and lobsters rescued here.
By the time we got to our third stop, the Rockland County, the wind and waves had really kicked up. We were getting hit by 5 footers before the day ended. The Rockland County really provided for the hunters though, with several blackfish in the 10 lb category rescued, some smaller ones, and several bags of mussels.
Hope the wind calms down a bit for the divers going out on Saturday & Sunday.
