Captain Jim Wilson
We headed out in a choppy ocean, but it seemed doable. So we pulled up and dropped the shot line which ended up on a new section of the wreck for us. Bart had to look for a tie in spot, but as always, he found one. Of course the wind and current were not running in the same direction so we would be in for a little rock & roll on deck. As I put up the dive flag it was apparent that I had made the right call to cancel the charter today. The weather guys had it right today.
As we waited to Bart to come back with a visibility report, we spotted Bart’s lift bag and we were making bets as to what was hanging on it. An anchor or the purser’s safe? Well it turned to be an anchor and a report of the viz being about 10 feet. So off Harry and Brian went. Harry came back with a bag full of lead and a report of a lot of lobsters in this new spot. So Bart headed back in to see if he can find these guys hiding in the decking. Well Brian was the only one to come back with a lobster.
Well had enough of the getting bounced around so we headed in for lunch. Let’s hope this wind will give us a break for next week.
