Well we finally got out again. First stop Harry Rush- 3 ft vis. Next stop a wreck at the ridge and 10 to 15 ft vis, large tog and only one keeper lobster. Next 2 stops more ridge wrecks and 0 to 3 ft vis. It was not our day and from the reports I have been seeing the vis must be better up North with is unusual. Jack had the biggest tog of the day in the 10 lb range.
We did notice a lot of the wrecks had fishing boats on them. With sea bass closed and only one tog per fishermen allows I figured we would have the wrecks to ourselves. wtf? maybe porgies but I have not seen a large amount by Barnegat. I did hear of a lot of bunker in shallow but not too much feeding on them apparently.
Maybe next week we will go back to heading South and have better luck.
