The bad thing that happened is truly sad. Because it keeps happening over and over again we think humans can't learn from their mistakes. It is almost enough to make a fur sad.
Maybe listening to some music, something your Mom won't sing with, will help all of you. Maybe. Previous Message
That's just it, though. We don't want to snuggle. We don't mind racing over to our human when there's a point -- for example, when she's giving out treats or making us breakfast. But to gratuitously go over and snuggle with her? We don't think that's going to happen. We wouldn't mind doing it, but we can think of about 10,000 things we'd rather do. But we'd like to comfort her, anyway, since she's so sad about the bad thing that just happened. We might just purr or something like that. She likes listening to us purr. Either that, or she thinks that, if she listens to us purr, we will listen to her sing. We won't listen to her sing, but she likes to think she can work out some type of deal. We don't believe in reciprocity, but she doesn't know that.

Snuggling always works for me! Previous Message
Our mom is sad today. What we can do to help her? We tried purring, but it isn't working.

We’re pretty used to hot weather, although the rain is keeping it cooler the next few days.
Mom and I really love our ceiling fans too. I like to stretch out under the fan.
Drinking water is always good too. Previous Message
It is HOT! Why was it 96 and 95 degrees outside yesterday and today? This isn't summer, yet. It's still spring. It's not supposed to make a cat drink two bowls of water. We even tried to stretch out on the shower floor. (That smelled like stinky humans!)
We feel bad for Charmee. Down in North Carolina, it must be even hotter.
