Cold weather is stinky. We're sort of purring for temps in the 20s now. It's been in the single digits for a few days, and that's just not good. It's even hard to stay warm indoors where there is central heat. We can only imagine what it's like for homeless furs and furlesses. Our feral, Socky, who was our angel feralbrofur, Gorgeous's, best friend/companion, is holed up in the garage and will not come out. Mom saw her hiding and is not sure whether or not she's eaten since Gorgeous went to the Bridge. Mom wishes she could coax her over to where to food is (she's high on a shelf, out of the coldest weather, trying to keep warm). She must be terrified, lonely, and grief-stricken for her best friend. And possibly hungry, too. She was always less friendly than Gorgeous. She came to play Gorgeous who liked to play with mom. Without Gorgeous, mom's not sure Socky would be interested in approaching her -- she certainly won't do it in this terrible weather.

Mom and I don’t like it when the temperature starts with 2. It did this morning and it’s supposed to do it tomorrow too.
Now she’s waiting for FedEx to deliver her medicine so she can go to the bread store. They’re usually here before now, but they won’t leave the medicine if she’s not here, so she just has to wait.

Hekko. Howareyouwearefinethankyouandyou. And you? Except it is way too cold out. It feels like 10 degrees below zero. We feel very lucky that we are indoor-only furs. We're so lucky to have a nice mommy who lets us snuggle with her.
