We are starting to grow our winter coats. Do they look handsome?
We are hissing at the wildfires in the west that sent their stinky smoke all the way here. Then we will hiss at Sally for sending us her remnants. She could have sent them to the e west but no, the weather doesn't work that way.

Yes. It is Autumn now, for real. It's about 55 degrees outside, and our mom does not have the central heating system on, but she will probably have to turn on the space heater in a little while, because she is COLD, and she lacks a fur coat. All she has is a stinky old sweatshirt and, if need be, other sweatshirts to layer on top of the original stinky old sweatshirt, and that will likely not be enough today. Oh! It's Autumn! Even thought the calendar disputes that, we know what Autumn is, and this is it!
