This momma deer is not afraid at all of humans.
(It feels like there should be some commas in that sentence.) One of the babies almost got hit by a car. It came out around the front of a parked car and the driver coming down the street didn't see it. The deer went back into the narrow strip of woods between our "hood and the next one.
You are right. They learn quickly!
...your mawmaw and pawpaw will go outside and help them. And they will learn. We have deer in our suburbs, too, and they learn quickly to play without getting hurt. Sometimes, we even think they are doggies. Tee, hee, hee.

We had to look that one up. Very good! We want the window sills at our house to be ours! So we can watch the baby deers and their momma across the street. An urban subdivision is no place for them. Why are they here? And will they make it across the street safely?
Hekko. Howareyouwearefinethankyouandyou. And you? We now own all the window sills. Yes. We have explained that to our mom. She may want to raise or lower a blind or shade, but we decide when, and if, we will let her do that. Until further notice, all the window sills are ours by eminent domain. And that's just the way it's going to be! We don't care if we do keep breaking window shades and blinds. That is our prerogative, because they belong to us!
