Re: Yeah, our mom keeps sobbing, too.
Sometimes, we just want to tell her to stuff a sock in it. You know? We want her to be upbeat and optimistic. But, sometimes, she's just Debpee Downer. You know?

Is anyfur or furless besides us acting weird today? We are both finethankyouandyou, and so is our mom (FWIW), but the two of us are acting pretty nuts. Our mom thinks maybe there's a full moon. We're like: full of what? Hydroxychloroquine? Tee, hee, hee. Wait. What? *leaning over to hear what their mom is whispering into their pointy ears* Oh, okay. Our mom says we're not allowed to make jokes about imbeciles. Never mind. Seriously, though, is any other fur or furless acting goofy today? We are wondering whether it's just us or whether something is in the air. We keep standing at the front door and staring at it in tandem as if a human is out there, but no human (or cat) is out there. We are not acting as if we want to go out. We're just acting as though something IS out. This has been going on, off and on, for ours. It's not a bug, either. Oh, well. We're not telling what it is. Our mom is safe, though, and so are we. She has been in and out to do some yardwork, and no critter is lurking out there. There's no place for a critter to hide, thankfully.
