Is your new Mom sure?
That same thing happens to us. we have the big ceramic water bowl that follows us into our room and then comes out into the hall during the day. It is our favorite. We also have a smaller ceramic bowl in the kitchen and two metal bowls.
But, when the big one runs low the humans don't fill it up until they get up in the morning or come home from work. Why? oh, why?
wez got a kitty fountain , Riley's old big ceramic doggy bowl and two metal bowls, does youse want to use our???
Hekko. Howareyouwearefinethankyouandyou. And you? But we're kind of angry. See, even though we have told and told our new mom that we want to drink our water in a certain place, she refuses to get up during the night to refill that water bowl. Claims she's sleeping, or something stupid like that. Also, she says a bigger water bowl won't fit there, and it's not her fault if we drink all of it overnight (and drink only a little bit of it during the day). She also says there's plenty of water elsewhere, if we're thirsty. She also tells us that we get plenty of water in our canned furfood, and that no indoor fur ever got seriously dehydrated when a water bowl ran empty for an hour or two while there were about 3 other known water bowls elsewhere that were full. *hissing in tandem* How DARE she? How even DARE she? We thought we loved our new mom, but now we are not so sure. And you should see how slow she is to fill up our water bowl after breakfast!!! We have meowed and meowed that we should have a water fountain, but she's selfish and says we can't have one because they're too hard to clean, and she loves us, but she doesn't love us that much. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! We might have to go back to hiding in the closet. She doesn't deserve good kitties like us.
