We got lucky.
Yes, the snow hadn’t accumulated wasn’t as bad as we’d feared. The very young neighbor from across the street helped our new mom shovel out. Mom then returned the favor by helping another neighbor who had just returned from a long day at work shovel her driveway so she could get her car in. Hopefully, Mother Nature will give us a break now.

Tell your new Mom to be furry, furry careful with the wet, heavy snow.
Yuck. This is the stinky kind of snow. It has been snowing all morning and isn't expected to stop until noon. We are not going to let our new mommy shovel much of it. We will make her hire some other humans to do it. But she will have to find someone. And, of course, she will have to shovel out the car so she can move it. Being a human is hard work. We are glad we are furs. We hope and purr that all furs and furlesses are safe, wherever they are.
