Re: *jumping up and down on excited, conspiratorial paws*
Yayayay, _ucker! We're sure your pawpaw loved coming home to check on you! Your mom must have been feeling terrific if she called your pawpaw at work! We'll bet she wasn't scared or anything! She loves attention, too! Tee, hee, hee. Is this how you did it? *flopping upside down, motionless, in a box with tails not wagging and ears not twitching, either* Is this right?

*whisper, whisper* I just stayed in my box-shaped bed. Momma knew I was awake when I moved my head. But she was so scared when I didn't move my paws that she called Pawpaw at work. He was concerned enough to drive home and check on me. I attention!

Can you do that, Tuxie? Can you fake sick just to get attention? We didn't know about doing that! We want to try it, too! Will you teach us how you did that? Please? Did you stay under your blankie, or did you snuggle in a box, or...well, how? We want to know, because we want to do it, too! It might have been better if you had kept your eyes closed and not followed your mom as she walked around. That would have really been cool!

Gee-mi-ni Kissiemouse! Can't a guy have a late morning without the world coming to an end?
I am fine. I greeted Pawpaw at the front door when he came home to check on me.
Thank you for your concern.
He did not get out of his bed this morning. He is moving his head, watching Momma move around the room, but he didn't make any effort to stand up or get out of his bed.
The lazy bum!
