Callie Marie McChew-La!!! It took you long enough to get her. But I understand. You had to finish your earthly business first!
You are so beautiful!!! We have lots of mousies to play with, butterflies to chase, and whatever else your heart desires. Watch out for Angels Panda and Bandit. They will want to sign you up for ballet and tap dance lessons. Get settled in before you make any decisions to join them.
We love your mom very much, and we know she loves you and always will.
I know you’re healthy and happy at the Bridge, but I’m sorry that you had to leave so soon.
I hope your mom understands that you won’t ever really leave her, but I also know that she’s going to miss you until she gets used to just having your spirit with her.
She did a good thing for you and I hope knowing that comforts her.
...I can't write too much now, because I'm about to go to my Welcome Home Callie Marie McChew-La party, and I can't be late! I'm so hungry! I could eat 999 cans of furfood all by myself! And a stack of mousieburgers, too! Yippeeeeeeeeeee!!!! Anty Norma is chasing me, too. What a silly, fun human she is! I love her so very much. She should have been my mommy. My mommy stinks, even though she took good care of me and I love her, too.
I almost didn't get here today. It was touch-and-go for awhile there. The vet wanted to do x-rays and blood work and an operation and extract teeth and do all kinds of other things and see if she could make me feel allbettersoon. She said the belly lump was little and could be removed pretty easily, and maybe there were no other signs of being sick, and if that were the case -- I was so playful at the vet's! -- then I should just go home. Of course, she heard my other symptoms, and she said I probably had something like kidney disease, pancreatitis, nerve damage, diabetes, or thyroid disease. She was saying, no, the cat looks fine except for the lump. We should see what's going on with her before we decide not to try to make her well! Mom said, okay, fine, but she was scared to take me home, anyway, because she knew it was my time to go, even if the vet didn't. Well, the vet did one x-ray, and she was, like, yeah. This is very bad. Cancer everywhere. So mom sighed in relief and told me that I could go to my Welcome Home party, and here I am! The music starting! All of my angelfriends are here! I'm so excited! I will update you later.
