Re: But how?
Iím glad you sent the mousies away? But how did that make you feel? My mom is still agonizing about the mousies she sent to the Bridge. Baiting the horrible traps that snap and send mousies to the Bridge is hard. Mom kept snapping the traps on her fingers and crushing them. Sheís haunted by what those traps did to those mousies. She spent the morning cleaning up old mousiepoop she didnít know about ó the mousiepoop was literally everywhere, and the mousies had to go ó but mom still canít deal with how it ended for those mousies. They were furs, too, and mom loves furs.
Few years ago we had mousie problem in our garage. I bought the no see/kill traps, didn't work. in fact they were arrogant rodents, poop on top of trap. I bought the old fashion cheap kind & I baited & put in a paper bag, they went in bag & I got good 8-11. Threw trap/mousie in bag away, no touchie. Brilliant idea don't you think? I kept traps out after till I was sure all were gone. I kept the no see/kill traps out, they were expensive. Guess what, after 2 years I just recently saw one trap hole was closed & it move from set mode to trapped mode. Haven't had time or really not brave enough to pick it up yet. Diane
Thank you for letting me know where my mousie went. It went down to Canada to play with you! I haven't had a nice, fresh mousie to play with in about a month. Mom stole all of the mousies that were here, and she sent them to the Bridge. She had been using the type of mouse traps that let her bring happy, cheerful mousies to the Bridge for a few years. But the mousie population was not decreasing. Some days, mom would bring four mousies to the park. She said the mousies were starting to become pets and not mousies. They would come out and play even when I was around or mom was around. So, about two months ago, mom bought the horrible type of mouse traps. In three days, 11 mousies went to the Bridge. Ever since then, I have not seen any mousies, and neither has my mom. So I guess what happened is that we got a mousie, but when it didn't see any mousies to play with, it went to your house. And you got to play with it! Good job, Annie! Mom and I do not miss our mousies.
