Our Momma thought so too when Butter crossed the Bridge. She thought she was finished being adopted by cats. Then Pawpaw said he wanted another orange boy. And Momma wanted another black boy. They got adopted by an orange tabby (Tailor) and a chocolate tabby (Tucker). Now they wish they had some of the old things.
We know you are busy with taking care of each other but you never know. You never know...
We never had a cat named Fred before we met Fred. Yes, we know that you call him Omar, but that's something we never understood. His name is Fred. Is, was, and always will be. You may take a break from getting adopted by a new cat, but -- in the meantime -- you must learn the difference between Leaper and Purry. That is your homework assignment. Plus, you must listen for all the angelfurs who come and visit you. We know they will, and we hope you will hear them when they do.
With Chita McChew, it was funny. We asked for a sign that she was okay and she had made it to the other side. A couple of hours later, there were ants on the kitchen floor beside her food bowl. Ants are a private family joke. Long story, but ants mean "tickles." Ants are considered a very good thing -- the height of happiness. The actual ants, not so much. But when we saw the ants, and we saw where they were, we knew Chita McChew had sent them. Then, within 60 seconds, the ants disappeared. They were never seen or heard from again. Thank you, Chita McChew! We knew you could do it!
So please look for Fred. We're sure he will wave at you, if you are looking and listening. We love you.
Callie Marie McChew-La and her stinky mom
For all your thoughts/posts. This is the first time in my 62 years I've been without a cat. Not counting my college years (2 degrees-7 years) Because I had family cat who I use say was the only reeason I came home to see. Not having a cat is hard but at this point I'll take time before or if I get another cat. I'm giving almost all Omar stuff (you know he has so much) to Humane society, few specail toys are going to his girl cousins (they look exactly like KITKAT & Romeo) their names are Leaper & Purry can never remember which is which. They are 6 yrs old, real littermates, own my sister & her husband. I'll stop by time to time to get my kitty fix. And again thank you for everything. I miss Omar beyond belief. Diane
