Tee, hee, hee. Your pawpaw sounds like my mom. My mom sings even off-keyer than your pawpaw and, unlike your mom, my mom has no excuse because my mom is an early morning person. She wakes up chipperer than when she goes to sleep. Chipperer? More chipperer? Hmm. Anymeow, your pawpaw probably also sings the Tailor Motel Kamzoil song at you all the time, just because he can, and because it's not his fault that one of you is named Taze. It isn't his fault at all! He's just an innocent bystander. Tee, hee, hee. My mom will never admit to making up a song. She always says she found it that way. I don't believe her! How could she have found so many songs with the name "Callie" in them? Well? How? Unless she's lying! Probably, those songs were originally all about other cats, who were very likely stinky, so she swapped out their names for mine. In other words, I got their sloppy seconds! Waaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! I don't want their sloppy seconds! I want my own songs! Too bad my mom is a stinky songwriter, or I would have far better songs than I do! It's all her fault! That's whose fault it is! It's all her fault!

We did not know that song Auntie Callie. Of course, Momma claims she knew it all along but never sang it to us.
Our very humiliating secret is that Pawpaw makes up songs to sing to us. They aren't even the real words to the tunes he (tries to) sing off key. The only song Momma sings at us is the "Goodmorning to you." song. And it is always off key because she just woke up and her voice hasn't been used yet. Our Momma is a sleepy head.
Do you know this song? Anty Debbie sings it, but she thinks it's a song named a cat named Tammy. My mom understands that it's really a song all about me. She sang me the "Callie, Callie, Callie's in love with me song" even before I liked her. She figured, if she sang it enough, it would start to become true...and she was right. Dang it all. Here's my song:
Callie Marie McChew-La
It is getting warm today.
Oh we believe that yesterday
was a very, very cold day.
Oh we believe ...
Look, Momma's cell phone says it is 39, going up to 43.
Sorry if we mewed up the song about tomor -r -r - ow.
