I know Great Britain will help celebrate their Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June, but that jubilee technically starts tomorrow, February 6. It will be 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II's reign as well as the 70th anniversary of the death of her father, King George VI.
First of all, this is to honor the memory of King George VI.

On his death, his older daughter became Britain's Queen Elizabeth II. It is going to be her Platinum Jubilee tomorrow.

This picture was from December 2000 (as captioned in the picture) but since there's not any Platinum Jubilee photo yet, here's this lovely photo of the Queen in the carriage.
