No rain Posted by Jason Western PA on August 27, 2025, 7:54 pm It has been a dry August. I heard on the radio today that it's been the driest August in 150 years. Hardly a drop of rain all month.

Now it’s been in the low to mid 70s and low 50s for lows, so things are probably gonna start slowing down. The colder air has brought much drier conditions.

It's been extremely dry and the new forcast is no rain for at least 2 weeks. A Gulf Hurricane could change that but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. This is the dry season for most everyone in the country unfortunately. Due to the drought I've seen several snake bites reported in Tennessee and Alabama this summer, mostly Copperhead vipers. Looking for a drink no doubt. Hope you get some rain
