The FIREBALL LILY, Scadoxus multiflorus, is blooming! This is another plant that is stored dry, and dormant, over the winter. It returns every year, after "giving the sign"....
Another EASTER CACTUS, Rhipsalidopsis gaertneri, is blooming! Although Easter is long gone, these plants bloom long afterward, well into summer. This one, of course, is RED!

Alvin, the variegated chinaberry is nice. The chinaberry is invasive here. I like the new hardy succulents from high country’s. I had those but just too wet here, they died after two winters. I like the Easter cactus, I hope you get Amarillo fruit to set. The fireball lily is great in bloom. !
