Mail order from Rio Grande Valley in Texas about 3 years ago and it has survived winter indoors no problem. Those little screw grow light bulbs in a room will keep it (anything) alive I just went outside @1130pm and its raining like forever here (still another week of it) and took this queen palm shot, skinny and wind and rain have tangled up the fronds. You can see water reflection on a few frond branchs. Bad pic (grin If you get one, let me know. I have stories. btw My Walmarts never have have anything decent anymore but they had 5g large looking Pigmy Date Palms for $25. I might get one for prosperity tomorrow Here is my largest Agave (A.brasili) @ 1141 CDT It's a little bigger than I looks

I was tempted to buy, but quickly reconsidered, after wondering how I'd get one home, in a car, as well as how it would fit in my house, once I got it there, LOL. No ceilings in my house,are that high. They do very well indoors. I have had a 6 footer, for many years (grown from a seedling), currently in a 12 inch pot (needs to be bumped up), that is just beginning to produce character fronds. Just long straps, up to now. I've posted a pic of it, last year. I will again later in the season.
