If you heated this one, dont give up because I think they are slow to flush after defoliation. Fred, Kevin or AJ might could share a thought. Good luck with it.

Although my caudex is firm, I'm not convinced mine will make it. My other two, in a more sheltered location, look good and have flushed new growth. Having said all that, I've heard of folks saying a sago may skip flushing for a year or so after a cold winter. I'm gonna leave mine and see what happens. Kevin seTN

Last summer it flushed late and I think it was June. Kevin mentioned a solid crown being a good thing. The crown is rock solid. Hopefully it will still flush!

Spring has been cool and wet so I think that may be a deterrent to growth. The crown is solid and not mushy which gives me hope. I’m leaving until at least the 4th to see if it flushes.
