The DAME'S ROCKET, Hesperis matronalis, a phlox-resembling wildflower. The blooms are fragrant, too! As you can see, in the background, the winter elephant ears are still present...
In the forefront of the pic below, surrounded by raspberry foliage, is the LANG JUJUBE, I planted as a dormant, leafless, potted plant, in December. It is leafing-out nicely...

Alvin , my Carolina all spice is long past blooming now, but it was very beautiful this year, with lots of blame. I can smell your Carolina allspice from here, lol. the Dropmore scarlet honeysuckle is beautiful. Does this smell like the wild?? as a child we always like to suck at the little drop, honey. It was very sweet as I remember. You will like the pink bloom of the Tamarisk. Beautiful bloom on the lilac.. I bet it smells delicious. The Dames rocket boom is gorgeous.! Deutzia is a very nice shrub.
I missed your pic of the Carolina Allspice, earlier, this year. My plant does not have fragrant flowers. Could be a genetic issue. I always thought the "allpsice" portion of its name, referred to the scent given off, by rubbing the leaves. There is a culinary spice, by the same name. Dropmore Scarlet does not have a scent, however one of its parents, does. yep, both the lilac and Dame's rocket are fragrant. The Deutzia is not, though.
