Acknowledging your kindness Posted by Rob on May 25, 2025, 5:36 pm I'm blessed to be able to post this update. I have been released from hospice care because my doctors believe that my interaction to treatments have improved significantly and beyond the 6 months. I truly have a different outlook on life for now. Please forgive me for not posting or messaging sooner and especially to those who have send cards and messages. I wish I could thank you individually and hope to in the future. It has been very difficult and depressing for months. Lloyd, Kevin, Barry, Fred, Keith, AJ and Jason, thank you. To Mark, thank you for sending your garden updates and I enjoyed seeing them As for now, I'm extremely weak and have lost about 50lbs but beginning to feel my strength returning. I hope to visit again soon. I appreciate you all. Thank you.

We are all praying for you and hope you feel better. You have obviously helped a lot of palm/plant growers on here over the years and we are all very grateful for your help and posts.

It is kind of a big deal. I will have nuclear scanning for several hours. Meds and therapy after that. My destiny will be revealed for sure. I'm staying positive and while I'm not worthy, I'm a Christian. I hope you know I respect you more than any other gardener I've ever spoken too. (well Jason,Jim, Keith and Tom rank up pretty darn high) We are not all blessed with the best climates but it never stopped you. You expect other areas in the west and south to be on their game so no accolades to them I hope you will continue growing amazing plants that defy your climate. It's very beautiful where you live. I consider you to be a great gardener as you help so many people with plants and pass on your extensive knowledge of past work done by people in your area to develop special genetics. People like you move everything forward and make it all worthwhile. Me, I am more of a mad scientist trying a lot of different things and then working to select the ones showing promise. We finally got a rain last night - It has been a long dry spring. Lloyd
