That bush of yours loves that sunny spot it's in. Beautiful.

They propagate rather easily from cuttings. I had a nice rooted cutting that I have to carpenter that repaired my fascia board.

I have a bottlebrush question for you. My low this year was 4F. The leaves on my bottlebrush bronzed with a lot of them falling off. The stems are still pliable. I was wondering if it will be okay or is it slowly in decline? I haven't seen any new buds on it yet. Thanks.

Mark, In my opinion, it’s probably fried, 4° is low, but give it just a little time. The buds should be formed by now. I believe, I’d cut it back about to the ground, and maybe it will sprout back up. The year that we got down to eight my bottle was killed. I cut it back to the ground and look at it now Yours may come back too.
