Spring update Posted by Jason Western PA on April 13, 2025, 8:11 pm Good evening, all. It was a busy weekend on the farm. We moved 91 bags of mulch and uncovered most bananas. I planted some cannas and I planted them deep this year. I hope to not have to dig them up. I went 16 inches deep. Post office is all cleaned up and mulched as well. So here is a few. Thinking of Rob also. How are you doing?

I dug up and threw away a lot of Bengal Tiger Canna that spread out of their bed and were trying to spread under the back deck , those canna rhizomes spread like crazy. Some were just on top of the ground and others a few inches deep. I dug them with my horry tool. I am hoping I am able to mow yard later today. My neighbor mowed last week and mowed about three feet over on me. He came within a foot of my plantings. Apparently was a lot of mulch. he can’t see, lol . Thst
