Colocasia 'Pink China' Shortage Posted by Jake- Morristown, TN on March 18, 2025, 11:03 am Hello, I used to have the 'Pink China' variety. They are so hardy and and form nice patches. I noticed while searching for a new one, that they seem hard to come by. Has there been a shortage of these plants in the last few years? I noticed a lot of places have them listed, but are out of stock. Just wondering because I remember at one point seeing them everywhere. Thank you, Jake

Some are invasive here in right habitat . I don’t grow any. My daughter has a wet back yard as bd sad one type of elephant ear is spreading all over. I do have Alocascia portadora.

If you want to come by my place later in a couple months some will likely be going strong and you can have for free but I've eliminated most of them.
