It is snow-covered. Looks like northern states do. Even we get snow at times as far south as we are. It never lingers over a day or two. We don’t get measurable snow every winter. The snow line here basically is along and north of I-85. I am south of there but not by much. They get snow every winter up in the Blueridge section of SC. I am on the Piedmont.

Depending on how much ice accumulates, it can cause tree limbs to fall, and cause power outages, and other damage. That happened here, a couple years ago.
