The Palms at the Arboretum... Posted by Kevin seTN on December 31, 2024, 3:00 pm in Chattanooga. https://youtube.com/shorts/4Ug8bjzL4AU?feature=shared Plus a bonus. We discovered this palm yesterday. According to Google maps it has been there for at least 10 years. It's fun discovering new palms. I'm sure there are many more out there but it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Is it located north of the 153 parkway (Chickamauga-Amnicola-Airport areas ? Palms outside the urban heat island love that area. The tall mountains of Waldrens Ridge (the most eastern area of the Cumberland Plateau) seem to protect that part of the Great Valley very well. HAPPY NEW YEAR
